Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Digital and Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and digital infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient data flow across platforms, enabling analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, development and oversee the implementation distributed architectures.
- System Evolution: Lead the transition from legacy or monolithic structures toward modern, decoupled, and event-driven systems.
- Iterative Delivery: Partner with product and engineering teams to deliver value through iterative, incremental releases
- Polyglot: Select the "right tool for the job," comfortably navigating multiple programming languages and paradigms
- Performance Engineering: Optimize system bottlenecks at the database, network, and application layers
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with AI tools in SDLC activities
- Familiarity with agile practices and associated tools.
- Event-Driven Design: Strong grasp of message brokers (RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub) for system-to-system integrations.
- Distributed Systems: familiarity and experience with designing and developing distributed systems at scale
- Expertise in at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on Serverless, Kubernetes, and Managed Services.
- Experience with "Evolutionary Architecture"—building systems that can change and adapt to changing business scenarios
- Good understanding of Security, Observability
Hands on experience with OO programming languages, SQL and No SQL data stores, messaging / streaming middlewares
